Our CBSE Curriculum
PTJM Jyoti SSVM, Petarwar follows the curriculum prescribed by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. We balance academic requirements in Science, Commerce, Mathematics, and Languages with value-based co-scholastic projects.
Our focus is to nurture active problem-solving capabilities, helping students grasp underlying concepts in mathematics and science. In addition, secondary and senior secondary students receive periodic coaching, preparatory tests, and mock board sessions to score high in Board examinations.

- Class I to VIII: English, Hindi, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Sanskrit, Computer Science, General Knowledge, and Moral Science.

Teaching Methodology

Primary Wing
(Class I to V)
A child-centered atmosphere introducing writing, logical arithmetic, environmental awareness, and moral storytelling in class.
Middle & Secondary
(Class VI to X)
Focusing on science experiments, algebraic concepts, history, language composition, and introductory IT software applications.
Senior Secondary
(Class XI & XII)

Examinations & Assessment
Our assessment structure strictly conforms to the CBSE guidelines of continuous evaluation, balancing periodic tests with final examinations:
- Periodic Tests: Conducted quarterly (PT-1, PT-2, PT-3) to track syllabus understanding.
- Term Exams: Half-Yearly (Term-1) and Annual examinations (Term-2) evaluate overall performance.
- Internal Evaluation: Subject enrichment activities, lab practical records, and neat notebook submissions are assessed.
